About Me

A fourth year student at SUNY Oneonta studying Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Communications, I am currently employed as a workshop assistant at a do-it-yourself art studio in Staten Island, NY when I am not living at school. Since I am interested in marketing, I am also the Public Relations Chairperson for both the Habitat for Humanity organization at SUNY Oneonta as well as for my sorority. Additionally I serve as the Secretary on the executive board of my sorority. I love fashion because it is a way to express yourself without words – you just show the world who your are. Fashion is constantly changing and influences many things in the world, which mirrors my personality since I feel I am constantly changing and updating my look and outlook on life and fashion. My goal in the industry is to either become a fashion trend forecaster or fashion journalist as I like to share my voice in addition to my look with the world. I am hoping the Public Relation roles in my organizations enhance my fashion career goals – perhaps philanthropically as well – and lead me to a life where I’d like to settle on the West Coast.
